Tomahawk Caravan Park

Tomahawk is a small seaside town in north-east Tasmania, Australia that overlooks the Bass Strait. This town has a caravan park with a small shop; there is a boat ramp and the area is known for its fishing. As at the 2006 census, Tomahawk and the surrounding area had a population of just over 100 persons. During Summer and school holidays, visitors flock to Tomahawk for its beautiful beaches and fishing.

Tomahawk Beach is popular with locals and visitors to this region of Tasmania. You can simply walk along the beach, go fishing, swimming, boating and even drive your four-wheel drive vehicle along sections of the beach. There is a boat ramp close to the Tomahawk Caravan Park. Tomahawk is app. 30 kilometres north-west of Gladstone and 40km east of the popular small fishing and holiday village of Bridport. I strongly recommend that no-one here uses tomahawk caravan park & that it be removed from this page due to Craig, the “manager” having been extremely rude & insulting to me. He even called me a “smart-arse” he has a terrible, un-helpful attitude for a “magaer”. I will never set foot in that park again.
