The Stitt Falls cascade beside your caravan as you watch the sunset over Mt Murchison after a full day exploring Montezuma Falls, which are Tasmania’s highest waterfalls. Alternatively, make sure you do some bushwalking on any of the numerous tracks in the area, which range from short and easy to challenging multi-day walks. Enjoy a 4WD tour to Lake Johnston where you can discover ancient Huon Pine trees. Fish in Lake Plimsol or Lake Rosebery where excellent brown or rainbow trout provide a challenge to the avid fisherman. Rosebery Tourist Park is less than an hour from Strahan and the Gordon River Cruises, Cradle Mountain and all it has to offer to the visitor to Tassie.  There is a world-class museum at Zeehan, which is a highly recommended activity when visiting this region.
