Strahan Tourist Park

The Strahan Tourist Park cabins and campground is located beside Macquarie Harbour and is opposite a recreation park. A 15-minute walk takes you into the heart of Strahan where you have easy access to the town’s many tourist attractions including the West Coast Wilderness Railway and Gordon River Cruise. Strahan is located on Tasmania’s west coast and is approximately 4.5 hours’ drive (300 kilometres) from Hobart.

The Strahan Beach Tourist Park provides a range of accommodation options at Strahan on Tasmania’s stunningly beautiful west coast. Accommodation options include standard and economy cabins, powered sites for caravans and non-powered campsites. Standard cabins sleep up to 6 people and have queen-size bed plus two sets of bunks. The cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, heating, bathroom, dining table and lounge with television. Economy cabins also sleep up to 6 guests in a range of bedding configurations and have a kitchenette and the same facilities as standard cabins. The Strahan Holiday Park has 32 fully self-contained cabins, 14 powered sites and a number unpowered tent sites. The Strahan Caravan Park has cabins with disability access and smaller cabins suitable for 2 guests only. Guests staying at this park using powered caravan sites have full access to a barbecue, laundry, camp kitchen and hot shower facilities.
